CFO – Novel Coronavirus: Stepped Up Precautionary Measures
The Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) level was raised from Yellow to Orange on 7 February 2020. To safeguard the health and well-being on our patients, doctors and staff, we have stepped up precautionary measures at our clinics with immediate effect:
Mandatory Temperature Taking of All Visitors
Temperature-taking will apply to all patients and accompanying patients who enter our clinics. Please be advised to limit the number of accompanying patients during this time.
To facilitate contact tracing in the event of cases, we will also be requiring all patients and accompanying persons to complete a health and travel declaration at the point of registration. Unwell patients and accompanying persons will not be allowed to enter our clinics.
In addition, please be aware that the hospitals are conducting temperature screening and declaration at its entrances. Due to this, entry points at all hospitals are limited. Patients should thus factor in some additional time when coming for your appointments.
These measures may cause some inconveniences but it will allow us to rapidly identify affected individuals in the event that contact tracing is required. It also helps to minimize infection exposure.
Thank you for your continued support and trust in Centre for Orthopaedics.
