Dr Seow has been an Orthopaedic Surgeon for over 25 years and is currently a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Parkway East Hospital. He was the Director, Adult Reconstruction Service at the Singapore General Hospital before he left for private practice in 2002. He has performed many orthopaedic operations in the course of his career. His special interests are hip and knee joint replacement and reconstruction surgery.
Dr Seow Kang Hong started his career as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in 1987 and joined the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) as a Consultant in 1989. In 1998, Dr Seow was appointed as the Deputy Head of SGH Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and concurrently appointed as the Director to its Adult Reconstruction Service till 2002, where he was instrumental in bringing the department to new heights.
Beside his experience in treating Orthopaedic conditions and performing close to 150 knee and hip related operations per year, Dr Seow is also a dedicated speaker and trainer with numerous local and overseas institutions. He was a reviewer with National Medical Research Council of Singapore and Guest Editor of the Orthopaedic Journal of China.
